What is your cancellation policy?

If something unexpected pops up, you can change the time or date of your appointment up until 24 hours beforehand however changes cannot be made within this or you will lose 50% of your treatment cost. Our cancellation/rescheduling policy is 1 week in advance for Spa days and packages or you will lose 50% of your booking cost. No shows will be charged 100% of the booking cost.

If I book a treatment, can I use the pool, steam & sauna as well?

The use of the pool is complimentary with any 1 hour ESPA treatment. Please request this upon booking as this may not be available at short notice. You can add pool use with other treatments at an additional cost, please ask for more details when booking.

How do gift vouchers work?

Gift vouchers can be purchased online or in person at the spa reception. Vouchers a valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and cannot be extended. Please have your voucher to hand when you book appointment or table and bring it with you for your booking.

What should I wear for my treatment in the spa?

Your own underwear, if you ahve been in the pool beforehand we ask you dry off and pop your own dry underwear back on. Please allow yourself plenty of time to do so as this may eat into your treatment time.

Should I arrive early for my treatment appointment?

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow us to check you in and explain your itinerary. We will email you a consultation form prior to your visit.  Please contact the spa direct if someone in your party hasn’t received their form.

Are children allowed to use the spa facilities?

We do not provide treatments for children under 16. Children are only allowed in the spa during private pool hire on an evening and only if they are accompanied by a responsible adult age 18+. Please enquire at reception for more details or call 01228 544200.

Do I need a patch test for any appointments?

Yes, a patch test is required at least 24 hours before all waxing, tinting & lifting appointments, if you show up to an appointment without a valid patch test in the last 6 months you will be charged the full cost of your appointment and we will not be able to carry out the service.

Can I have an alcoholic drink while relaxing by the pool? 

Yes! Our spa is licensed for the sale of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on the premises. Ask at reception or press the button on the wall next to the loungers to place your order, and it will be brought to you. Only drinks purchased at the spa are allowed to be consumed.

Is there disabled access to the building and upstairs?

A. Yes there is an exterior access ramp to the right of the building entrance. Once inside, there is an enclosed lift on the right as you enter which goes from ground to first floor level.  The disabled toilet is on the ground floor to the left as you enter the building.

Are dogs allowed in the building?

No sorry. Dogs must be kept outside.

Can I purchase items to enjoy at home?

Yes, the full range of ESPA luxury skin and body products are available to purchase from reception.  Our therapists will be available to help choose the right products for you.
