Q. What should I wear for my treatment in the spa?
A. Wear whatever you like to the spa, you will be given a robe and spa slippers to wear for the duration of your visit. You can wander around in these and visit the restaurant upstairs in your robe too! During your treatment, you will be asked to lie on the treatment couch usually in your underwear and be wrapped up in towels. Your therapist will advise you and may offer you disposable pants to wear. This is your choice!
Q. Should I arrive early for my treatment appointment?
A. If it is your first visit to the spa, please allow 5-10mins to fill in a brief questionnaire and discuss any medical conditions, health issues, treatment preferences with your therapist. If you are a returning client we will have your details already and you don't need to arrive early. Please inform your therapist if there are any changes to your health and medication since your previous visit.
Q. If I book a treament can I use the pool, steam & sauna as well?
A. Yes, either arrive early or stay afterwards to use the spa facilities. Check in at reception for your robe, towel and slippers.
Q. Can I purchase ESPA products?
A. Yes, the full range of ESPA luxury skin and body products are available to purchase from reception. Our therapists will be available to help choose the right products for you.
Q. Can I have an alcoholic drink while relaxing by the pool?
A. Yes! Our restaurant and spa are licensed for the sale of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on the premises. Ask at reception and it will be brought to you.
Q. Can I wear my robe and slippers in the restaurant?
A. During the day, you can visit the restaurant without the hassle of changing back into your clothes. This will allow you to return to the spa without changing again. Enjoy a light lunch, afternoon tea or just drinks during your spa visit.
Q. I visit the spa regularly. Is there a reward or loyalty scheme for me?
A. Yes. Ask at reception for a loyalty privilege card to save points that will convert into complementary spa treatments.
Q. Is there disabled access to the building and restaurant?
A. Yes there is an exterior platform lift around the left side of the building and a ramp up to the front doors. Once inside, there is an enclosed lift on the right as you enter which goes from ground to first floor level. The disabled toilet is on the ground floor to the left as you enter the building.
Q. Are children allowed to use the spa facilities?
A. There are allotted time slots when children under 16 are allowed to use the facilities is they are accompanied by a responsible adult age 18+. Please enquire at reception for details or call 0128 544200.
Q. Are children welcome in the restaurant?
A. Yes, of course. Please ask a member of staff if you need a highchair for your child. A children's menu is available, but smaller versions of adult dishes are also available on request.
Q. Can I reserve a particular table in the restaurant?
A. When you make your booking, you can request a table or area of the restaurant. We will try to meet that request if possible, however there may be occasions when we can't do it, but we will try!
Q. Are dogs allowed in the building?
A. No sorry. Dogs must be kept outside.
Q. I have food allergies, is there anything on the menu for me?
A. We can adapt our dishes to accommodate dietary requirements. Please make us aware of your allergies upon booking.
